  كانت هناك عوائق عربية كثيرة أمام حركة فتح إلا أن الحركة تخطتها، وبنفس الوقت كانت هناك إستثناءات عربية وقفت إلى جانب حركتنا، ولكن حركة فتح ستواصل الإرادة والعزيمة الصلبة في مواصلة المسيرة للتحرر وتقرير المصير.
  واجهت حركة فتح متاعب داخلية جمة وذلك بفعل التدخلات العربية، فحدث الإنشقاق الأول والثاني، إلا أن حركة فتح كانت قوية وكانت كل ضربة لها تقويها.
  سنعمل على لملمة الجراح الداخلي الفتحاوي، والفلسطيني بشكل عان وسنعمل على وحدة الشعب الفلسطيني وإنهاء الإنقسام، وهذا ما أكدناه في مؤتمر حركة فتح السابع.
  لن نسمح لأي أحد بأن يقفز على حركة فتح بمساعدات عربية أو خارجية أو غيرها، ومؤتمر حركة فتح وضع النقاط على الحروف، في هذه الجزئية.
  66% من الإسرائيليين يطالبون بإقامة دولة فلسطينية بجانب إسرائيل ولكن اليمين الإسرائيلي لا يقبل، ونحن نؤمن بأن نعيش بسلام إلى جانب إسرائيل.
  لن نقبل بأن نعيش في دولة كنتونات على غرار ما يريده موسى أبو مرزوق، وفيدرالية في غزة، نحن سنستمر في جهودنا للحصول على دولة فلسطينية على كاملة السيادة وعاصمتها القدس الشريف.
