قال كلا من موفق مطر عضو المجلس الثوري لحركة فتح، وهاني ثوابتة عضو اللجنة المركزية للجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين، خلال برنامج قلب الحدث للحديث حول الذكرى السنوية الأولى لإنتفاضة القدس، وحضور الرئيس محمود عباس لمراسم تشييع شيمعون بيرس:
قال موفق مطر:
حركة فتح هي من دعمت إخوتنا في القدس المحتلة في مواجهتم للإحتلال، وهي التي دعمت هبة القدس ودعمت الحراك الشعبي.
لا يوجد تنسيق أمني إلا إذا فيه مصلحة للشعب الفلسطيني، وفقط لتسيير الحياة اليومية للشعب الفلسطيني، وأتحدى أي أحد على أن هناك تنسيق أمني مع الإحتلال.
هناك من يحاول إلى جر الساحة الفلسطينية إلى معارك دموية وإلى حالات الشعب الفلسطيني غير مستعد لها، والقيادة الفلسطينية لا يمكن لها أن تسمح بالعبث بالدم الفلسطيني على الإطلاق.
من حقنا أن نمنع الذين يستدرجون العدوان الإسرائيلي على شعبنا، وكلنا نعلم عندما قال صالح العاروري أننا مسؤولون عن خطف المستوطنين الثلاثة فهو كان يحاول أن يجر العدوان الإسرائيلي على شعبنا وهذا يعد أخطر من العمالة والتنسيق الأمني مع الإحتلال.
الظروف الآن لا تسمح بإجراء أي عمل عسكري ضد إسرائيل لأننا نريد أن نحفظ دماء أبناء شعبنا وحتى لا تذهب هدرا وحتى لا نترك المجال للذين يتاجرون بدماء شعبنا.
الرئيس محمود عباس يضع المصلحة الوطنية العليا فوق كل إعتبار، والرئيس عباس عندما ذهب إلى تشييع جنازة شيمعون بيرس بدعوة من عائلة شيمعون بيرس وليس بدعوة من الحكومة الإسرائيلية وهذا الذهاب يعد إختراق لعقلية الإحتلال الإسرائيلي بالقول أنه لا يوجد أي شريك فلسطيني للسلام.
الرئيس محمود عباس لا زال مؤمنا أنه لا يمكن العودة إلى المفاوضات دون الإفراج عن الدفعة الرابعة من الأسرى وإيقاف الإستيطان نهائيا.
حضور الرئيس محمود عباس إلى تشييع جنازة شيمعون بيرس ذات جدوى على صعيد المعركة السياسية الدبلوماسية التي يقودها السيد الرئيس.
قال هاني ثوابته:
إنتفاضة القدس جاءت بعد الإنغلاق في الأفق السياسي وبعد حالة الإنقسام وعدم التوصل إلى إنهائه، وجاءت الإنتفاضة نتيجة الإنتهاكات الإسرائيلية بحق المسجد الأقصى والقدس المحتلة بشكل عام.
إتفاضة القدس للأسف الشديد تعرضت للمضايقات من قبل أجهزة أمن السلطة فكانت هناك الملاحقة الأمنية ناهيك عن المسيرات التي كانت تخرج للتضامن مع الأسرى قمعت من قبل أجهزة أمن السلطة وتعرضت للضرب.
الشبان الذين ينفذون عملياتهم الفردية هم يمثلون مدرسة المقاومة الفلسطينية، والشاب الذي ينفذ عملية ضد مستوكنة أو ضد جندي صهيوني أو حاجز صهيوني هم لم يأتي من كوكب آخر هو من أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني.
الشعب الفلسطيني لا زال شعب محتل فهو لا زال يحمل ثقافة المواجهة والمقاومة، فهو يدافع عن حرمة المقدسات وعن المرابطات في المسجد الأقصى المبارك، فالمقاومة هي حق شرعي وقانوني لأي شعب يتعرض للإحتلال.
نحن أمام إنتفاضات متعاقبة تعبر عن الرغبة الفلسطينية في التخلص من هذا الإحتلال والأجدى بنا أن نكون أمام إستراتيجية فلسطينية موحدة تؤسس للمستقبل وتقوم على برنامج المقاومة وتستجيب لمتطلبات شعبنا الفلسطيني، الذي يريد التخلص من الإحتلال.
حضور الرئيس محمود عباس لجنازة شيمعون بيرس لتعكس الإستمرار في النهج المتواصل فيما يتعلق بالمفاوضات والإيمان بطريق المفاوضات وكان مخيبة لقطاعات واسعة من أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني، لذا يجب علينا ألا نستخف بعقول الناس وأن لا نجمل الصورة وكأن هذه الزيارة ستكون العصا السحرية التي ستقلب المجتمع الصهيوني من مجتمع معادي لشعبنا الفلسطيني ومتنكر لحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني ويصبح يؤمن بحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني ويصبح لديه قناعة بأن السيد أبو مازن هو صانع السلام.
