  حملت حركة حماس السلطة الفلسطينية والرئيس محمود عباس مسؤولية اعتقال العشرات نمن كوادر وانصار الحركة في الضفة الغربية، وقالت الحركة في مؤتمر صحفي عقده في مدينة غزة، قالت حماس ان استمرار الاعتقالات السياسية سينسف كل جهود المصالحة، مؤكد ان كل ممارسات الاجهزة الامنية ضد الحركة لن تضعف المقاومة في الضفة.
  
  دعا احمد بحر النئب الاول لرئيس المجلس التشريعي، دعا السلطة لوقف التنسيق الامني مع الاحتلال، ووقف حملة الاعتقالات السياسية في الضفة الغربية معتبر انها لا تخدم سوا مشروع الاحتلال.

  - لم تكن حماس منذ يوم وطئت السلطة الفلسطينية الاراضي الفلسطيني، هناك اشكال رغم ما وقع على الحركة من اعقالات واعتقالات واستشهاد البعض في التحقيق، ولم يعهد على حركة حماس انها ادت اي ردة فعل لى هذه الممارسات.
  - الاعتقالات الاخيرة توتر الاجواء وتوسع هوة الانقسام، ونحن في حماس نريد ان نضغ ايدينا مع الكل الفلسطيني للتصدي للعدو الاسرائيلي.
  - وبدلا من حرف البوصلة كان الاولى ان يوحد الكل امام الاحتلال الاسرائيلي.
  - الطفل الفلسطيني يعرف ان هذه الاعتقالات هي على خلفية سياسية وضمن التنسيق الامني، وهو استجابة للاملاءات والاشتراطات الاسرائيلية.
  - هناك حديث عن التعذريب في سجون السلطة، (ولكن للامانة لم سمع عن اي تعذيب ).
  - هناك اشارة ان ممارسات الاجهزة الامنية في شدة، والاصل ان يعبر كل مواطن فلسطيني عن رايه بحرية.
  - نحن ضد الاعتقالات السياسيت في اي مكان وسمعت عن اعتقالات في قطاع غزة ونحن ضده في اي مكان.
