  قال حسن خريشة الناب الثاني لرئيس المجلس التشريعي:
  • اقول لجمهوري الذي انتخبني لمرات عديدة في الانتخابات وخاصة في محافظة طولكرم ولكل الأهل في هذا الوطن اطمئنهم انني بخير ولم اصب بأذى جراء هذا الاعتداء الآثم الذي تعرضت اليه.
  • اليوم الذي حدث كان عبارة عن عملية اغتيال بدم بارد بوضح النهار، ولم تكن رسالة للاسكات او للتهديد، الرصاصات اطلقت من قرب في تمام الساعة التاسعة صباحاً.
  • انا اقول ان الذي يجري هو شكل من اشكال الفتن التي ترسم على الساحة الداخلية الفلسطينية، بان يتم ذلك بوضح النهار وان يتم ذلك في ظل وجود رجال امن كثر يحرسوا بيت رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني د. رامي الحمد الله، وان تأتي في هذا الارباك الداخلي الفلسطيني هذا دليل على انها تأتي من اجل اشعال الفتنة.
  • اقول للذين فعلوا ذلك ان هذا الصوت سيبقى مرتفعاً عالياً، نحن منذ المجلس التشريعي الأول والمجلس التشريعي الثاني ونحن نناضل ضد الفساد والافساد، وضد المفاوضات والمفاوضين ومع المقاومة والمقاومين لحمايتهم ويبدو ان هذا الصوت ازعج الكثيرين في الساحة الفلسطينية.
  • رأي السياسي يتفق مع معظم ابناء شعبنا بغض النظر ان البعض يزعجهم ذلك، وارادة هذا الشعب كانت واضحة حينما التفت لدعم المقاومة، تم تجنيد عدة اشخاص من اجل هذه العملية، انا اناشد الجميع بأن يبحث عن الحقيقة.
  • هذا العمل يأتي لمصلحة الذين يستفيدون من حالة الانقسام واستمرار حالة الانقسام، ومن الذين يتطاولون على المقاومة والمقاومين ومن الاحتلال نفسه عبر عملائه لأن عملائه مازالوا موجدودين في الساحة الفلسطينية.
  • انا اناشد اللجنة المشكلة للتحقيق بهذا الموضوع ان يمتلكوا الجدية والاخلاص بالعمل لايجاد الحقيقة لأن الحقيقة تخدم الجميع، وانا ارى ان اهتمام الرئيس بهذا الموضع يعني انه يطالب بنتائج حقيقية تقدم له وتقدم لي ايضاً باعتباري انا المستهدف، وارفض ان تسجل هذه الحادثة ضد مجهول ويجب ان يبقى الملف مفتوحا حتى الوصول الى الحقيقة.
