  قال عضو اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية د. أحمد المجدلاني لتلفزيون فلسطين معلقا حول الاحداث على قطاع غزة:
  • يقوم الوفد الفلسطيني بكافة الجهود من اجل التوصل لاتفاق التهدئة برعاية مصرية من اجل وقف حرب الابادة الواقعة على اهلنا في قطاع غزة، وان أي جهود لا يسجل لها ان تنجح فان هذا يعني المزيد من الحرب والدمار واراقة الدم لاهلنا وشعبنا في قطاع غزة.
  • الوفد الفلسطيني المتواجد في القاهرة والذي يشمل كافة الفصائل الفلسطينية والمقرر من قبل سيادة الرئيس، فانه يمثل الموقف الفلسطيني ككل ولا يسمح لأي طرف من الاطراف المشاركة في هذا الوفد ان يكون له موقف مستقل عن باقي هذا الوفد الفلسطيني والا كانت هناك مرجعيات مختلفة وقنوات مختلفة للقبول او الرد او للتعامل مع الاحتلال الاسرائيلي والجميع اتفق على تشكيل الوفد ودعم مطالبه باعتبار ان هذه المطالب تمثل الاجماع الفلسطيني ككل.
  • علينا ان لا نعفي الاحتلال الاسرائيلي او أي اطراف اخرى ودورها في اضعاف الدور المصري من اجل اضعاف الدور الفلسطيني لحسابات اقليمية قد يتم طرحها فيما بعد.
  • المطالب الفلسطينية الحالية هي ليست منةً من اسرائيل وهي استحقاقات مطلوب منها ان تنفذها وفق استحقاق واتفاق المبادئ.
  • أأكد انه لا يجوز لاي فصيل فلسطيني ان يتخذ قرار في كيفية ادارة الصراع مع المحتل وعليه فانه لا يجوز لاي من الفصائل الفلسطينية ان تفرض رئيتها المتمثلة بمتى تبدء الحرب ومتى تنهيها وهذا مكون اساسي من اجل ادارة الصراع مع الاحتلال الاسرائيلي، والمرجعية هي الوفد الفلسطيني في القاهرة.
  • هناك فريق عمل مشترك ما بين وزارة الخارجية الفلسطينية والسويسرية من اجل العمل على اعداد مؤتمر يتم من خلاله وضع اخر التطورات للقضية الفلسطينية في محكمة الجنايات الدولية.
  • هناك تحرك اساسي مع سكرتير الامم المتحدة فيما يتعلق بالدعوة التي وجهها سيادة الرئيس والمتمثلة في وضع فلسطين تحت الحماية الدولية جراء الممارسات الاسرائيلية بحق الشعب الفلسطيني.
  • اذا استمر العدوان فان التوجه الى دعوة مجلس الامن للتصويت على قرار يلزم اسرائيل بوقف هذا العدوان وهنا تكون الولايات المتحدة امام اختبار جديد لمصداقيتها في ازدواجيتها في المعاير التي تتخذ تجاه الشعب الفلسطيني وعليها اما الموافقة او استخدام حق النقد الفيتو واذا استخدمت هذا الفيتوا فان فلسطين يكون امامها خيارات اخرى والتي من ضمنها التحرك للجمعية العامة في الامم المتحدة لاتخاذ خطوات اخرى وهنا لا اتوقع ان الولايات المتحدة سوف تسعى لاحباط أي مسعى فلسطيني او عربي لايقاف العدوان على شعبنا.
  • اسرائيل تهدف الى عودة قطاع غزة الى ما قبل اتفاق الوحدة الفلسطينية، وحرب عام 2008و 2012 لم تكن تهدف الى نزع حماس او اقصائها وهذا تبين للجميع من خلال ممارسات اسرائيل على الارض والهدف الاساسي لاسرائيل هو ذبح الشعب الفلسطيني وتدمير قطاع غزة، والقيادة الفلسطينية استطاعت احباط هذا المخطط.
  • القيادة الفلسطينية سلمت سكرتير الامم المتحدةروبرت سيري وبانكي مون رسالة تتضمن اعلان قطاع غزة منطقة منكوبة وهذا يتطلب منهم ان يتم توفير ممر آمن للدعم الانساني، وتوفير الدعم لكل الحالات الانسانية المنكوبة نتيجة تعرضهم لهذه الكارثة، وهنا ااكد ان الولايات المتحدة لم تقم بالدور المطلوب لها وعلى عاتقها تجاه القضية الفلسطينية.
  • مجلس حقوق الانسان تبنى عدة مطالب انسانية ومنها تشكيل لجنة تحقيق مستقلة للتحقيق في جرائم الحرب التي ارتكبتها قوات الاحتلال الاسرائيلي بحق شعبنا في قطاع غزة.
