  قال محمد الهندي المكتب السياسي لحركة الجهاد الإسلامي:
  • إننا نحتفل اليوم بثالث عدوان إسرائيلي على شعب أعزل محاصر وثالث انجاز على طريق تحرير القدس.
  • أن الشعب افشل مخطط الاحتلال الذي حاول أن يصنع شرخاً بينه وبين المقاومة من خلال القصف المجنون للبيوت والابراج السكنية وان صدر من أهل البيوت المدمرة والعوائل المكلومة من الارامل والايتام في كل المواقع.
  أؤكد على فشل العدو الإسرائيلي الذي استهدف بعدوانه تصفية قضية فلسطين بتصفية المقاومة مستغلا لحظة ما بدا وكأنه انهيار للوضع العربي في حرائق داخلية.
  • أن استعداد المقاومة وصمود الشعب الذي لم يتأوه رغم حجم المحرقة قلب السحر على الساحر ليس في فلسطين وحدها بل في المنطقة والعالم ويتحول العدوان إلى معركة فاصلة لها ما بعدها ستحدد مستقبل غزة وفلسطين وتؤثر في تحديد مستقبل المنطقة لسنوات قادمة.
  • وأوجه التحية لكل من تضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني في هذا العدوان من شخصيات وقوى ومؤسسات بل ودول في أمريكا اللاتينية وغيرها ولكل من دعم المقاومة ووقف بجانبها اليوم وفي كل وقت.
  • إن اتفاق أوسلو تم تشييعه إلى مثواه الأخير غير المأسوف وأن اوسلو دفنت تحت ركام غزة كما قال الأخ د. رمضان عبد الله بالأمس ولا معنى لأن يستمر أي ترتيب بين السلطة والعدو الذي يستهدف غزة وهي تحت مسؤولية السلطة وحكومتها.
  • أننا بحاجة إلى إعلان إستراتيجية وطنية جديدة وتحديد خطوات لا يمكن تجاوزها وأهمها تفعيل الإطار القيادي لإعادة بناء م.ت.ف وتأكيد خطوات وحدة الشعب بجميع فصائله والتي بدأت مع حكومة الوحدة والوفد المشترك.
  • فالمعركة الأساسية هناك والتصدي لسياسة التهويد والاستيطان وعدم العودة للمفاوضات العبثية تحت أي ذريعة بعد كل هذه التجارب المريرة ولا يمكن للاستيطان ان ينتهي بالمفاوضات بل على ارض الميدان.
  • ودعا إلى توقيع بروتوكول روما فوراً وملاحقة مجرمي الحرب الإسرائيليين بكل جدية والتمسك برفع الحصار والتأكيد أنه غير قابل للمقايضة أو المجاملات الفارغة لأنه مطلب لكل الشعب في كل مكان والتحضير لإعمار غزة عبر هيئة وطنية يتفق عليها الجميع على حد قوله.
