  في برنامج محطات اخبارية الذي ناقش ابعاد قرار رئيس السلطة محمود عباس ازالة الديانه من الهوية الفلسطينية:
  قال الامين العام لحركة احرار الفلسطينية خالد ابو هلال:
  اعتقد انه اذا كان هذا الامر لمنع التمييز في فلسطين فكان من الاولى ان يتم التوافق عليه وطنيا وان يصدر قرار من المجلس التشريعي ليكون موضع لتوافق.
  توقبت اتخاذ هذا القرار يثير الكثير من الشكوك في ظل المفاوضات التي تجري مع العدو التي لا نعلم عنها شيء الا ما يشرح عنها في بعض وسائل الاعلام العبرية وبتالي اليس هذا مدعاة لمزيد من الشك ان هذا الامر طلب من رئيس السلطة كأستحقاق في اطار هذه المفاوضات لاهداف لا نعرفها ربما المستقبل يكشف عنها.
  انا لم اسمع ان فلسطيينا واحدا شكى من وجود الديانه على الهوية وجواز السفر.
  الهوية ووجود الديانه تشخص وتميز في المعاملات الحكومية والرسمية امام المحاكم سواء كانت اسلامية وشرعية وغيرها وهذه ضرورة مهمة.
  انا فلسطيني متضايق جدا لوجود كلمات باللغة العبرية على الهوية لماذا لم تقدم السلطة على شطب اللغة العبرية عن الهوية الفلسطينية.
  اذا لم يكن هناك رغبة فلسطينية عارمة لازالة بند الديانة من الهوية وجواز السفر اذا لماذا يقدم رئيس السلطة على اتخاذ امر اثار ضجة وخلاف كبير.
  اطالب بالغاء التميز التي تمارسة السلطة بين المسلم والمسيحي ورئيس السلطة محمود عباس، انا اطلب بالغاء المقعد المخصص للاخوة المسيحيين في المجلس التشريعي فهذا شكل من اشكال التمييز بين المسلم والمسيحي.
  انا اطلب بالغاء رئاسة البلديات في رام الله وبير زيت وبيت لحم وغيرها المخصصة للمسيحية رغم ان اغلب سكانها مسلمون.
  هذا القرار يضع الكثير من علامات الاستفهام فالطريقة التي تم بها اتخاذ هذا القرار يضع الكثير من علامات الاستفهام فلماذا رئيس السلطة يغامر بخاذ هذا القرار ويصنع كمل هذه الضجة ويعزز انقسام في المجتمع الفلسطيني طالما ان الامر طبيعي سواء ذكرت الديانه ام لم توجد اعتقد للاسف اننا كفلسطينيين بتنا يتخندق كل منا خلف مواقف فريقة سواء كانت خطاء ام صواب انا لو وجدت خطاء في الحكومة في غزة سوف اهاجم هذا الخطاء ولو كان هناك قرار صائب من السلطة ورئيسها لادعم هذا القرار فالمطلوب منا ان ندير حوار بناء وايجابي.
  كيف على لجنة الانتخابات ان تتعامل مع المنتخبين وبطاقات الانتخابات.
  
  قال القيادي في حركة فتح كفاح العويوي:
  ابداء لماذا يثار هذا الضجيج على مثل هذا القرار الذي يخص الحياة الاجتماعية في الشعب الفلسطيني ويكون هناك ضجيج اذا هناك تفسير غير معلن للاطراف التي تقف خلف التحريض على هذا القرار.
  هناك عدة قرارات تخص الحالات الاجتماعية ولم يقم عليها ضجيج ولكن اذا هذا الضجيج خلفة تفسير خطير ان هناك كما جاء في جزء من التعليق هناك مخطط او مامرة يجب ان نوضح هذا الطرح حتى نبرر هذا الموضوع على اعتبار ان الموضوع لا يحتاج تبرير رغم ان الموضوع جاء متاخرا ومتاخر كثيرا فهو يخدم الحالة السياسية وجاء في توقيت طبيعي.
  على الفلسطيني ان لا يعترض على هذا القرار بالعكس يجب ان يكون فخور بهذه الحالة لانه القرار جاء للمساوة وعدم التمييز على العرق والجنس.
  هناك سجال حدث بين الطرف المفاوض الفلسطيني والاسرائيلي ويتهم الفلسطينيين بالعنصرية فهناك مطالب لم تقبل فلسطينيا ان تكون على الطاولة وهي يهودية الدولة وهذا ارقى اشكال العنصرية ان يكون هناك مطالبة لدولة ان تطالب دولة بالاعتراف بها على اساس الدين ونحن نرفض هذا وبالتلي نحن نفتخر باننا نجمع بكل المكوناتنا الفلسطينية اليهودي والمسيحي والمسلم فبتالي ان يكون هناك خانه على الهوية تحتوي على الديانه سواء موجود او غير موجود هذا امر لا يعيب.
  انا لم اقل ان هذا القرار جاء من خلال التميز الذي يجري لان هذه ليست الخلاصة التي خرجت بها انت وسالت ضيفك عنها فالموضوع لا يتعلق بالتميز، وانما الموضوع له علاقة بشكل الحالة الفلسطينية التي نتغنى بها وهو جزء من حياتنا وهي الديمقراطية والتي توافقت عليها كل الفصائل الفلسطينية.
  السؤال عن المتيز ليس بحاجة عن اجابة الا اذا كان هناك سؤال واضح ان هناك مخاطر واكرر ما هي المخاطر التي من اجلها اثير هذا الموضوع نحن نقول ان الموضوع طبيعي جدا والمساوة على اساس الدين والعرق وغيره ابسط حقوق المواطن.
  اذا كان هناك فكر من هذا النوع في المجتمع الفلسطيني اعتقد اننا نحتاج الى مدرسة خاصة في الوعي الفلسطيني سواء في المواطنة او في الحالة الديمقراطية اذا كان الاخ يستكثر على المسيحيين ان يكون لهم مقاعد في المجلس التشريعي ورئاسة البلديات.
  فيما يتعلق باجراء اتصالات مع الاحتلال الاسرائيلي بشان دخول الغاء الديانة حيز التنفيذ وما شأن الاحتلال بقرار داخلي فلسطيني، نحن في كارثة حقيقية في المجتمع الفلسطيني وهذا الموضوع يزعج الاحتلال وخلق اي اربكاك حولة قبل ان يكون في حيز التنفيذ هو من الادوات التي يستخدمها الاحتلال دائما لاستخدام الضغط الداخلي لاستخدام قرارات لا يرغب بها.
