  شنت الاجهزة الأمنية الفلسطينية في الضفة الغربية حملة اعتقالات شملت اكثر من 20 معلم فيما استدعت اخرين للتحقيق اثر اضراب عم مدارس الضفة الغربية لليوم الرباع على التوالي، وهذا الاضراب الذي اصبح على رأس مطالبه الافراج عن المعلمين المعتقلين، وكان قد بدء نقابيا بمجموعة من المطالب المتعلقة بتحسين الاوضاع المعيشية والادارية.

  - الحقيقة للراي العام ان المعلم لم يضرب واننما خرج من المدرسة لكي يطالب بحقوقه المقرة من الوزارة ولا يوجد خلفية سياسية للاضراب، وكل مجمع ان الاضراب مطلبي وبعد تحقيق المطالب يعود كل المعلمين الى مدارسهم وطلابهم.
  - هناك اتفاق مقر من الحكومة، والذي حال دون تنفيذه ان الحكومة لم تلتزم بما وقعت عليه.
  - هناك وساطات من المجلس التشريعي والنظيمات للخروج من ازمة العملية التعليمة والمعلم هو الذي يعاني ونحن نري حقوقنا ونحن لا نعتدي على احد ولا نريد الضرر باي مؤسسة.
  - اتحاد المعلمين هو احد مؤسسات منظمة التحرير ونحن لا نريد الاشخاص الموجودين في الاتحاد ونريد تغييرهم بطريقة ديمقراطية، فمنظمة التحرير هي سقفنا وومن يجلس على رأس الامانة العامة للاتحاد لا يمثلنا الأن.
