  اختتم الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس زيارته إلى لبنان، وقبيل مغادرته التقى وفدا من الفصائل الفلسطينية، وكما زار مقابر الشهداء في بيروت، وخلال لقائه الفصائل سلمته الفصائل مذكرة حول اوضاع اللاجئين الانسانية والاجتماعية ومطالبها بالمخيمات اللبنانية.
  قال احمد مصطفى، مسؤول الجبهة الديمقراطية لتحرير فلسطين في مخيم برج البراجنة، ضمن التقرير الاخباري :
  • يجب ان تشكل الزيارة بداية نحو اقرار الحقوق الانسانية والاجتماعية، وحق العمل وخاصة المهن الحرة ، وحق التملك للشعب الفلسطيني في لبنان.
  اشارت مصادر صحفية لبنانية إلى أن رئيس السلطة الفلسطينية اقترح على الرئيس اللبناني ان تتولى السلطات الامنية اللبنانية المسؤولية الكاملة على أمن المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان، وهو الطلب الذي لم يحظى بقبول رئاسي لبناني.
  قال علي الأمين، رئيس موقع الجنوبية الإخباري :
  • الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس، جاء إلى لبنان ليحمل فكرة أن تتولى السلطة اللبنانية الوضع الأمني داخل المخيمات الفلسطينية، علمًا بأنها ليست أول مرة يطرح فيها مثل هذا الموضوع، حيث إنه طرح هذا الموضوع بشكل رسمي في عام 2006.
  • ممنوع على الفلسطيني أن يقاتل من أجل تحرير فلسطين عبر الأراضي اللبنانية، وممنوع دخول الفلسطيني لمسافة 30 أو 40 كيلو مترا تقريبًا من الحدود الإسرائيلية.
  • أنه تم إلغاء اتفاق القاهرة الذي كان ينظم المقاومة الفلسطينية في مواجهة احتلال فلسطين، وحزب الله يقوم بدور عملي أيضًا لمنع دخول أي بندقية فلسطينية إلى مناطق قريبة من مناطق الاحتلال.
