  خلال لقاء معه للحديث حول عدد من المواضيع المتعلقة بالشأن الفلسطيني قال عضو اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير صائب عريقات :
  الولايات المتحدة الامريكية لها مصالح في المنطقة وهي قائمة على سبع ركائز،الركيز الاول لها اسرائيلي والثاني تعزيز القدرات الدفاعية لحلفاء امريكا في المنطقة والركيز الثالث احتواء ايران على السلاح النووي الركيز الرابع الحفاظ على منابع النفط خمسه..... سته .... وسبعه عملية السلام في المنطقة.
  الولايات المتحدة لم تصح من النوم ان انبها ضميرها على عتاب الشعب الفلسطيني ان قالت انه لا بد من حل الدولتين على حدود عام 1967.
  الولايات المتحدة لها قواعد عسكرية برية وبحرية وجوية في المنطقة ولها 150 الف جندي في المنطقة.
  جاء كيري والتقى الرئيس ابو مازن، اليوم للمرة السابعة ولتقينا به خلال الشهريين الماضيين اربع لقاءات والبتالي الموقف واضح ومحدد.
  قلنا لسيد كيري لا أحد يتسفيد من نجاحك مثل الفلسطينيين ولا أحد يخسر من فشلك مثلنا لاننا نعول على الجهود المبذولة لانحاء الاحتلال وتجفيف المستوطنات واقامة دولة فلسطينية وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية على حدود 1967.
  المطلوب من الولايات المتحدة الامريكية ان تخرج من مربع ما هو ممكن القدوم الى اسرائيلي وتحديد ما يستطيع القيام به وزير الخارجية الاسرائيلي وما نستطيع القيامه ومن ثم تفصيل تحركها وفقاً لهذا القياس الى ما هو بحاجة اليه.
  على الولايات المتحدة ان تلزم نتنياهو بقبول الدولتين على حدود عام 1967 وانه لم يفعل ذلك حتى الان وان يلتزم بوقف الاستيطان وان يلتزم بالافراج عن المعتقلين وخاصة الذين اعتقلتهم اسرائيل قبل عام 1994 ولم يتم الافراج عنهم.
  سمعتم في الامس لخطاب الرئيس ابو مازن وهو يقول في اجتماع البحر الميت امام كيري وامام بيرتس وامام العالم اجمع لن نقبل حلول اقتصادية بمعزل عن حدود سياسية وانه لا يوجد شيء اسمه حل اقتصادي لا يوجد شيء اسمه اقتصاد فليطيني في ظل الاحتلال.

  على حركة حماس ان تعلن العودة الى صناديق الاقتراع والانتخابات الرئاسة والتشريعية والمجلس الوطني وعندها سيثبت من هو في الفيتو.
