  اعتقد بالجانب العملي، ان حماس عملت على اراض فلسطين وركزت نشاطها في فلسطينوشاركت في الانتخابات والحكومة الفلسطينية، وبالتالي الهوية بالاساس موجودة وحاضرة في كل نشاطات حماس.
  ان بعض الخصوم كان لهم هجوم قوي اتجاه حركة حماس، ودائما ربطوها بالاخوان المسلمين وانها ضمن تنظيم الدولة وباتنه حماس تضع الاولوية لما يسمى بالخلافة، واعتقد انهم نجحوا الى حد ما في خلق حالة من التشويش حول رؤية حماس.
  اعتقد انه بعد هذه السنوات الطويلة، حماس احتاجت ان تبلوررؤيتها، وربما بعض التصريحات التي صدرت هنا وهناك خلقت نوع من الارباك في ما هي رؤية حماس السياسية.؟
  لن ينجح اي مشروع فصائلي ما لم يوضع ضمن الاطار الوطني، وقلتها بشكل واضح لن ينجح مشروع حماس الا اذا كان هناك تكامل مع مشروع حركة فتح والعكس.
  اعتقد ان مسألة التماهي مسالة خطيرة، فنحن نريد اعادة توصيف وترتيب الرؤية الفلسطينية بشكل حقيقي.

  اعتقد ان حركة حماس تحضر نفسها لدور سياسي اكثر فاعلية واكثر اندماجا بالمعادلة السياسية القادمة، التي هي معادلة اعتدال وليس معادلة تجدد.
  هناك اشياء كثيرة مطلوبة من حركة حماس ان تقدمها لكي تنسجم مع الاعتدال الذي تتوخاه في المرحلة القادمة، انما التشجيع على الاعتدال فهذه مسألة تاريخية.
  دائما كنت انصح الاخوة في حماس، بأن لا تخرجوا بعيدا عن كل ما يفكر به العالم، وحاولوا ان تجدوا اللغة المشتركة مع العالم ، ومدخل هذا اللغة المشتركة مع الكل الفلسطيني التي نأمل ان تتم خلال الفترة القادمة.
  ليس مهما جدا التقارب مع الاطراف الدولية، التي لا تنظر الى النصوص وانما الى السلوك، وحتى الان اللاطراف الدولية تطالب حماس باشياء كثيرة لا اعتقد ان حماس مستعدة لتقديمها.
  المعيار الاساسي لتقدم حركة حماس في مجال الاعتدال والعمل السياسي المنتج، هو كيفية ترتيب الوضع في غزة.
  لا نريد اشتراطات لدخول منظمة التحرير، فمنظمة التحرير هي الوطن المعنوي للشعب الفلسطيني، وهي المعترف بها من كل العالم كمثل وحيد للشعب الفلسطيني.
  نريد ان من قدم وثيقة سياسية يرى بأنها جديدة وانها تخاطب العالم، يجب ان تقنع اولا بالسلوك والممارسة على ارض اهل غزة ثم اهل فلسطين ثم نذهب سويا الى المراحل القادمة في العمل الوطني الفلسطيني.
  اعتقد ان الوثيقة اذا تحدثت عن ان الدولة الفلسطينية على حدود 67 هو عمل مرحلي، فهذا سيرفض من العالم لاننا في منظمة التحرير جربنا هذه اللغة.
  اشك ان حماس تستطيع ان تتماهى مع المعادلة القائمة، ليس لانها ادنتها وانما لانها تختلف جوهريا مع الادبيات الاساسية لحركة حماس.
  ان الجذور الفكرية التي تربت عليها الحركة اجيال كثيرة في هه الحركة لا تشطب بورقة تقدم حتى لو درست على مدار سنيتن، فالجذور الفكرية لحماس عند الاخوان والمصالح السياسية لحماس عند العالم.
