  قال عباس زكي عضو اللجنة المركزية لحركة فتح :
  • الرئيس يليق به ان يأتي من يستطيع ليكرم هذا الرجل الذي يستحق التكريم والذي قال ما يمكن ويجسد طموح شعبنا الفلسطيني بتحديد العلاقة مع هذا العدو.
  • نرحب بسيد الرئيس رغم كل الحواجز والعوائق ورغم كل الحياة الاستثنائية الا ان من استطاع الوصول يمثل مجموعة كبيرة تؤيد وتساند الرئيس وتثمن موقفه الذي استعصى اي ضغوط واي اجراءات وقال في النهاية ما يليقت بكرامة الشعب الفلسطيني وإرادته، ولنا ايضاً ان نسقط القناع عن هذا العدو، حيث ان نتنياهو كان في الكلمة الاخرى كان رجل متناق ولا يستطيع أن يعطى 1% من التأثير التي تركها الرئيس ابو مازن في المجتمع الدولي.
  • سيكون العلم اعلى راية في الامم المتحدة لعداة القضية واستعداد شعبنا لتضحية ومن أجل تكريس هذا الحق .
  • نحن الان ننظر بفرح بان يعود الرئيس وان نبدأ حياة جديدة مدروسة لكيفية تنفيذ القرارات للمجلس المركزي وتحديد العلاقة والليات والسياسات.
  • هذا القائد العائد رفع العلم لكل الفلسطينيين وجسد طموح كل الفلسطينيين وانا الاوان ان نبدأ باستراتيجية جديدة لمواجهة التحدي القائم.
  
  قال أحمد المجدلاني عضو اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية:
  • هذه رسالة لكل العالم ولشعبنا على وجه التحديد بان القيادة الفلسطينية وابناء شعبنا في كل مكان يقفون خلف الرئيس محمود عباس، يقفون خلف الانجازات والمواقف التاريخية التي يعبر عنها بإسم فلسطين، بإسم دولة فلسطين، بإسم الشعب الفلسطيني.
  • هذا الحشد الذي نراه متنوعاً يعكس كل فئات ابناء شعبنا بقيادته السياسية والدينية الروحية والاجتماعية، هذا تعبير عن إلتفاف شعبنا لقيادته وقائده وقائد مسيرته في هذه المرحلة، هذه الجموع جاءت من أجل ان تشد على يد الرئيس وتقل له سر الى الامام ونحو خلفك وسنواصل المسيرة حتى تحقيق الاستقلال ورحيل الاحتلال.
  • وضع علم فلسطين في المتحف هي عبارة عن رمزية لهذا الحدث التاريخي وليس للعلم بحد ذاته، العلم رمز لفلسطين والقضية الفلسطينية، العلم الذي رفع الان هو يوضع في المتحف تجسيد لهذا اليوم التاريخي.
  
  قال احمد عساف الناطق باسم حركة فتح :
  • الشعب الفلسطيني على لقاء لقائده، هذا القائد الذي حقق انجاز هام لشعب الفلسطيني، هذا القائد الذي رفع علم فلسطين عالياً في مقر الامم المتحدة، وقال ان هذا العلم مقدمة لفرع العلم فوق اصوار القدس محررة.
  • من حقنا ان نبتسم ونقل لسيادة الرئيس شكراً لك سيادة الرئيس، على هذا الانجاز وهذا النصر الذي حققته على اسرائيل وعلى حلفاء اسرائيل الذين صوت بلا لرفع العلم الفلسطيني رغماً عن انفهم حققنا انتصار كبيراً، وهذه معركة سياسية كبيرة.
  • هذا الانجاز يقدره الشعب الفلسطيني عالياً، هذا الانجاز يلتف من خلالك حوله الشعب ويقول الشعب الفلسطيني لك يا سيادة الرئيس لو انك خضت البحر لخضناه من حولك وان الرئيس ابو مازن يسير نحو الحرية والاستقلال يحقق انجازات يومية لشعب الفلسطيني ولا يغامر بمنجزات الشعب الفلسطيني.
  • الفترة التي اعلن فيها عن قدوم السيد الرئيس هي ساعات قليلة، وعلى الرغم من ذلك اصرت هذه الجماهير الى ان تأتي الى هنا لتقول لرئيس ابو مازن اننا مع زخلفك.
  
  قال الطيب عبد الرحيم أمين عام الرئاسة:
  • هذا التجمع حصل بطريقة عفوية كان من المفروض ان يقتصر على هذا التجمع على القيادة الفلسطينية، ولكن عندما علمت الناس جاءت بنفسها، مما يعني ان الناس تقف مع قائدها ورمزها.
  • هذا تحدي للإحتلال الان تجمع هؤلاء الناس بطريقة عفوية برغم من كل الاغلاقات على جميع المدن.
  • هذا يدل على ان الشعب حي ولا يمكن ان يموت مهما توهم الاحتلال وراهن على ذلك، ولذلك نحن مصممين على ان يكون لنا مكان يليق بنا تحت الشمس في دولتنا وعاصمتها القدس الشرف.
  • الدليل على صمود هو ان جيل بعد جيل يحمل قضيته ومستعد ان يضحي من أجلها.
